I hold my breath, cross my fingers, and pray

Well, we are five weeks pregnant and I am starting to have some cramps with a little brown spotting. I am so nervous, but I am trying to keep my head up. I ended up calling the doctor, and they called me right back. The doctor I spoke to was very kind. Not only did not rush me off the phone on a Saturday night, she was very helpful and set up blood work so I could relax. I went for blood work this morning, and I got the call saying that my blood work indicated a a BETA level of 1749 and I was told that it looked good.... so here I wait for 2/17 for my big ultrasound and appointment.

I can't believe it!!!

I can't believe I actually get to type the words.....WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!
We found out on Saturday, and I have been on cloud nine ever since. I went in on Tuesday for repeat blood work to check my levels. I ended up having a BETA level of 77 on Saturday, and when I went in on Tuesday, they needed for it to double (154)....but, my level was 310!! Which means it quadruple!!! I am set up for my first ultrasound and prenatal appointment on my 30th birthday, February 17th!! happy birthday to me!!! Right now I am just enjoying being able to say I am pregnant and I look forward to bringing this baby in to the world!!!
